HBF Mind Matters is a therapeutic recovery program delivered over 6-9 months by a team of Mind psychologists, occupational therapists and social workers.

The team has specialised expertise in providing support for people with mental health and wellbeing challenges.

Our clinicians are trained to provide a broad range of therapeutic practices and interventions supporting the individual to:

  • Develop relapse prevention strategies
  • Build upon their existing strengths and wider support network, including family and friends
  • Better understand their mental health and identify the tools that will best support them
  • Facilitate linkages with services that will support individuals to achieve their goals

All our interventions are underpinned by recovery oriented, trauma informed practice. Each clinician regularly undertakes professional development to further their understanding of therapeutic modalities to meet the needs of people accessing our services.

You will receive an individual plan to equip you with relapse prevention strategies and build capacity to manage your mental wellbeing in the longer term.

The program includes up to 16 therapy sessions that can be delivered via telehealth or in-person at your home, depending on your preferences and location.

Mind Matters is a partnership between Mind Australia and health insurance provider HBF.
